Website story
In 2005 I posessed a huge photography gallery which I wanted to publish online. Then, like most people, I was introduced to Piczo and made cubicle.piczo. I put a lot of effort into it: had most of my old photography on it, my sister's drawings and lots of visitor content as well. The site got to be quite ppular. Was even featured on the piczo homepage at one point.
But in the mean time, I was getting pretty good with Photoshop, had lots of ideas and felt that I could do better than Piczo. I made a Freewebs account, but never finished the website, never even begun working on it. I just used it to practice CSS coding. So, in my search for a better host, I stubbled upon 110mb.com and it had too many good things to offer, so I thought I should try it out. Had all my pages done and the site was ready to be released when Britney from flashglam.com offered to host me. Her hosting offer was amazing, plus she seemed like an awesome person, so I imediately applied for hosting. And here I am!
Site name
When I pick a name, it can take me weeks before I can decide on a name that sounds right to me. Criterias: simple, easy to remember and no words like "vintage", "retro", "sweet", "kiss" etc... I thought I'd add a bit of myself in the title of my website. I study Maths at University and I love it, so why not pick a mathematical term? Looked upon some math terminology and found "evolute" which I thought it was just perfect! An evolute is the locus of the centers of urvature of a given curve. But you don't need to know that :).
