Idiocracy
Don't take it the hard way, but I think people are getting dumber. Have you see the comedy Idiocracy? It's not a particularly good movie, but the idea it portrayed was at least original, if not even a bit close to the truth. When I first saw it, I felt insulted. People are growing smarter I thought, surely not the other way around.
Ha ha, there was this funny part in the movie, when the main character had to take an IQ test; this was the question: "If you have one bucket with 2l of water, and another bucket with 3l of water, how many buckets do you have?"
But after my wacky room-mate, Andreea, introduced me to a couple of youtube videos and talked and laughed about the people she knows, I kinda started to think that the future may not be as bright as we want believe it is.
Children are trying to avoid school, people are trying to avoid hard-work, education is waaaaay behind, and I even heard that foreign students can't even multiply two-digit numbers without their calculator. Crazy! Anyway, for more crazy, idiotic things view Gunther's videos on YouTube. Yeah, Andreea showed him to me. I'm warning you though, I had to listen to a good couple of hours of good music to get him out of head and not feel stupid anymore.
